We're keeping things fresh during the steamy months of summer by offering a special small plates menu at the bar. New tastes include:
quesadillas de cochinita pibil
tostaditas de jaiba
torta ahogada (drowned sandwich)
brocheta de pastor (Oaxaca-style pork brochettes)
panela y chicaron (cheese and pork rind with avocado alioli)
and an artesanal cheese plate with fresh mango salsa and avocado mousse.

Prices range from 45-65 pesos and are perfect for a lite supper, an appetizer or order a few to share!

At Caprichos Grill House, we have challenged ourselves to find the best local ingredients and develop them into delicious, inspired dishes that will transport all of your senses yet keep you firmly grounded in the Zihuatanejo experience.


Located in the heart of Centro Zihuatanejo, Caprichos is across from the Artisan's Market, adjacent to the Church of Guadalupe and just one block east of Playa Principal. In other words, we are the ideal spot to indulge in the sights, sounds, and, of course, flavors of Mexico. From our tile-covered veranda, you will have the perfect vantage point for people watching while you enjoy a cocktail and authentic Mexican appetizers from the bar. Or, for a true escape, pass through to our hacienda-style courtyard for an intimate dining experience in our candlelit garden accompanied by the sounds of trickling fountains and world music.*

This season we have not only refreshed our menu but we have new expanded hours, wifi internet access in the bar and an gallery featuring local artists. Our garden has never been more beautiful, Daniel is behind the bar ready to mix your favorite drink and Gregorio is waiting with his trademark smile to greet you and welcome you back for another Caprichos night. Edgar Alan has followed his passion for creating cuisine and has moved from the front of the house to the kitchen where he is now cooking alongside Carlos, with assistant Audel, to prepare Caprichos' favorites as well as fresh exciting dishes, including the new bar tapas menu.
